Stop recreating the symptom
Record which faucet was used and where moisture then appeared. If water is spreading, do not turn the faucet on again just to demonstrate the problem. Take photographs from a safe, dry position and note the delay between use and visible dampness.
Keep away from a wet outlet, electrical equipment or a sagging ceiling. An accessible customer shutoff may help only if you know its purpose and can reach it safely; never force it or substitute a curb-stop operation.

Include freeze and repair history without assuming a cause
Exposed plumbing can be vulnerable in freezing conditions. Say whether the faucet was winterized, whether a hose stayed connected, and whether any previous repair is documented. These facts frame the question; they do not establish the failed part.
Check accessible surfaces inside the wall line for a stain or drip. Do not pull insulation, remove siding or reach into a concealed cavity to follow the water. Ask what evidence would distinguish the faucet assembly from nearby piping or another source.
Explain the available access
For a Ken-Caryl district customer, the meter has a distinct district-maintenance role. Mention if the suspected wet area is near it so plumbing access is coordinated correctly. Do not dismantle a meter connection to examine a nearby pipe.
An existing utility-room opening may be more useful than the outside stain. Tell us about cabinetry, finished ceilings and any access panels. Ask whether an initial visit can assess the branch through existing access and what additional opening would require approval.
Separate detection from restoring finishes
Confirm the address, the investigation available and any charge before arranging entry. If a wall must be opened, agree on which side, what needs protecting and who replaces finishes. The task is to identify the source and define the repair; a thermal image or an exterior stain alone does not finish that decision.
